Sie verfügt über fünf unterschiedliche Leucht-Modi, die schnell und benutzerfreundlich über den elektronischen Schalter aus vier von MAGLITE® vorprogrammierten Funktionsmenüs ausgewählt werden können. Daneben bietet die ML100 eine gute Performance in portabler Mid-Size Größe.
 
Sie hat eine Leuchtweite von 307 Metern (das sind mehr als 3 Fußballfelder) und eine maximale Leuchtdauer von bis zu 48 Stunden. Das sehr robuste (bestandener 1m Fall-Test) und wasser-resistente (IPX 4) Gehäuse wurde aus hochfestem, beidseitig eloxiertem T 6061 Luftfahrt-Aluminium gefertigt. Über die Drehung des Taschenlampen-Kopfes ist der Lichtkegel fokussierbar und kann dem jeweiligen Einsatzzweck flexibel angepasst werden
